Two Years Remembrance: Kikelomo Alli’s Legacy Lives On

By Rotimi Famakin

The second-year remembrance service of Ibadan-based Christian evangelist, philanthropist, widows’ advocate, and Director of He Careth Orphanage, Aminat Kikelomo Alli, was held in grand style as beneficiaries, family members, and friends gathered to mark two years since her passing.

The solemn yet celebratory event featured prayers, sermons, and testimonies, alongside vibrant praise sessions, as a raffle draw—centred on questions about her life, character, and ministry—added a reflective dimension to the occasion.

The service took place at the He Careth Orphanage, Ajangboju, General Gas, along Iyana Church Road in Ibadan.

Delivering the message, the Pastor-in-Charge of Christ Triumphant Church, Agbon Market, Iyana Church, Sola Akogun, urged Nigerians to reconcile with God to regain the life lost in death and to positively impact others.

Citing Romans Chapter Five, Verse Ten, Pastor Akogun explained that a life lost in sin cannot be reclaimed after death.

He noted that the late Mrs Alli was not only committed to preaching but also generous in giving material support to those in need.

Daughters of the deceased, Chief Mrs Olufunmilola Kayode and Mrs Titlope Alli-Adelowo, described their mother as a prayerful woman who dedicated her life to God, service, and humanity.

A son-in-law, Chief Kayode Muyiwa, also paid tribute, describing her as a compassionate and kind-hearted mother-in-law who treated everyone with warmth.

Until her death, the late Evangelist Aminat Kikelomo Alli devoted her life to ministering to widows, children, and running an orphanage—leaving behind a legacy of faith and humanitarian service.
