Ogun State House of Assembly, OGHA, has commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for appointing experienced and competent individuals to lead the State House of Assembly Service Commission.
Speaker of the House, Mr Oludaisi Elemide, gave the commendation while playing host to the members of the commission led by a former speaker, Mr Suraj Adekunbi during a courtesy visit at the Ogun State House of Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The speaker, in company of his co-lawmakers noted that the governor’s choice of competent hands reflected his commitment to the progress of the assembly and the state; assuring the commission members of more support for the overall development of the legislative arm and the state in general.
Earlier in his presentation, the new Chairman of the commission, Mr Adekunbi, expressed gratitude to the assembly for their support during the screening and confirmation process, soliciting increased support for the commission to fulfill its assignment.
He also pledged the commission’s dedication to advancing the welfare of the members of staff of the assembly.
