Leaders of Community Development Councils in Ibadan and Ibarapa zones of Oyo State have been enjoined to orientate people in their councils about the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines.
The Oyo State Director of National Orientation Agency, NOA, Mr Moshood Olaleye said this while addressing the community leaders in Ibadan.
Mr Olaleye stated that there was the need for people to understand that the COVID-19 vaccines have no side effects and remain the only way to prevent contracting the virus.
He equally enjoined people of the state to shun issue of tribalism and continue to live in a way that will foster unity in the state.
Responding, the Zonal Chairman of Community Development Councils in Ibadan and Ibarapa, Alhaji Abdulfatai Oloyede commended the NOA for the enlightenment on COVID-19 vaccine and ways to ensure adequate security among all tribes.
