The President of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Bishop Francis Wale Oke says President Mohammadu Buhari should deploy his experience as a military general during his active days in the military to rescue Nigerians from its dire security challenges.

Bishop Oke stated this while hosting the Lagos State Varsity Union at precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan.

The PFN President noted that the call became imperative in the face of constant kidnapping, banditry, herdsmen attacks and other dangerous security trends plaguing the country.

While welcoming President Buhari on his recent medical trip abroad, Bishop Oke urged him to be a father to all by reassuring Nigerians that his appointments were not made with nepotic intentions.

The 7th newly sworn in PFN president also stated that president Buhari should urgently tackle and douse the agitations for secession by some ethnic groups due to perceived favouritism of the president to a particular section of the country.

He stressed that justice to Nigerians must not only be done but seen to be done.

Bishop Oke maintained that PFN would continue to pray and support the government for the success of the nation.
