Inconsistent government policies, poor funding and lack of infrastructural facilities in the rural areas have been identified as factors responsible for the nation’s food insufficiency.
The provost, Oyo state College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora, Professor Jacob Olugbenga stated this while delivering monthly personality lecture organized by the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Ibadan zonal station at the studio one of the Broadcasting House, Dugbe.
