The body of the late Sarkin Hausawa of Ibadan land, Alhaji Ahmed Zungeru has been committed to mother Earth at his palace,Sabo.
Dignatories from all walks of life were at the late Sarkin Hausawa’s palace to pay their last respect.
In his reaction, representative of Olubadan of Ibadan land,Oba Saliu Adetunji at the event, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi, described the late Sarkin as a man who loved his community throughout his life time.
Alhaji Akanbi however prayed to Allah to grant the deceased Aljanah fridaus and continue to protect those he left behind.
One of the sons of the late Sarkin, Mr. Sulaiman Haruna said he would continue to remember his late father for his truthfulness throughout his life time.
Mr. Haruna promised to continue with the good works his late father left behind.
Other important signatories at the burial of Sarkin of Ibadan land include the deputy chief of staff to governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, Alhaji Mojeed Mogbonjubola, SarkiShasha,Alhaji Haruna Maiyasin and many other important dignatories.
