Radio Nigeria has been commended for maintaining the flagship in broadcasting through presentations of quality programmes.

Chief Imam, Oluyole Central Mosque, Imam Mudashiru Bada stated this at the inauguration of the board of trustees of a popular Radio Nigeria Programme tagged “Gbajare”.

Alhaji Bada observed that programmes such as Gbajare that sought to reach out to the less privileged were the best form of humanity anyone could offer.

Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan, Mrs Bolatito Joseph noted that assisting the less-privileged in society must not be left in the hands of the government alone.

Mrs Joseph called on well-meaning Nigerians to be Good Samaritans to their neighbours and should not turn deaf ears to their plight, especially in this trying time.

The Deputy Director News, Mr Tunde Abiodun said Gbajare as a programme would be sustained as listeners had formed a passion for it.

The programme Gbajare which is a “Save Our Soul” had assisted a lot of people in dealing with challenges such as health, financial and marital issues.
