Every electorate must obey all the instructions by the INEC for the elections exercise to achieve a free and fair election.

Electoral officer, Ibadan North Local government area, Mr Timothy Onabanjo said this during the sensitization for the congregation of Foursquare Gospel Church Bodija Ibadan.

Mr Onabanjo explained that, if all instructions were strictly adhered to, it would also make the work easier for INEC officials all over the nation.

While teaching people how to follow the steps of voting, he urged the congregants to vote according to their conscience.

“Voting without PVC is not allowed, according to the 2022 constitutional law of INEC. INEC is fully prepared for exercise”.

Also speaking, the assistant Electoral officer, Ibadan North local government area, Mrs Tosin Oladapo said that it would be a good thing, not to sell one’s conscience, hence, the need for every citizen to be fully prepared and keep whoever candidate they are voting for, in their minds.

While thanking the efforts of the Electoral officers, for the sensitization, the senior Pastor of the FGC, Bodija, Ibadan, Reverend Williams Akinlade, said, no one should entertain any fear, but, follow their instincts on who to vote for, on the election day.

Highlights of other activities included prayers for the nation, for the political and for the religious leaders.

Meanwhile, collection for personal voter’s cards, PVC, had closed on the 5th of February, 2023.

President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Francis Wale Oke, has described the former General Overseer of the Foursquare Church, Dr Wilson Badejo,as a forthright individual who served God with all his might.

In a condolence message made available by his Media Office, the PFN President described the news of Badejo’s death as shocking to the nation and the world, particularly to the Christian community.

According to Bishop Oke, the former General Overseer of the Foursquare Church gave his all to the service of the Lord while alive, a development he added, enhanced the spread of the gospel to nations of the world.

The PFN President who is also the presiding Bishop of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Ibadan, said that no doubt that the passage of the deceased was painful and shocking, the worthy life he lived, would remain a challenge to the living.

“Rev Dr Wilson Badejo was a strong-willed man who pursued righteousness till he breathed his last. For everyone, death is a garb that will be worn by all at the appointed time. Though humanly speaking,one wouldn’t have wanted him to go now, however,God is the ultimate decider of when for everybody” Bishop Oke noted.

He said that death should always serve as a lesson of reminder that nobody would live in the world forever lamenting that many in the society still behave as if they would never leave the planet earth.

“In the case of Rev Badejo, our joy and solace is that having fought a good fight of faith, he has gone to rest with our Lord Jesus Christ. And that’s what every Christian should work towards and crave for” the renowned cleric further advised

While commiserating with the family, Foursquare Church and the Christian body in the country, the PFN helmsman prayed that God would grant everyone concerned, the fortitude to bear Badejo’s transition to glory.

Praying for God’s mercy to heal our land should be every man’s watchword as the world battles Covid-19.

Assistant Pastor, Foursquare Gospel Church, Bodija, Pastor Kayode Babatunde said this in Ibadan.

Pastor Babatunde explained that total submission unto God could help individual and the society in time like this, hence the need for Christians to seek the face of God to conquer the pandemic and other challenges.

Pastor Babatunde, however, urged Nigerians not to relent in prayer to recover losses the country had experienced so far.

The service had all precautionary measures in place for the congregants, from the entrance into the main auditorium, as well as physical distance.

Christians have been advised to be perfect in their ways, as the Lord commanded.

One of the Assistant Pastors, Foursquare Gospel Church, Bodija Ibadan, Pastor Olaitan Alloh gave the advice during his Sunday sermon.

Pastor Alloh who noted that, if the world was filled with holiness, the devil’s work would be destroyed, hence the need for Christians to be good examples and also let their conversations be seasoned with salt at all times.

Pastor Alloh, however, urged every believer to ensure full commitment to the things of God, in other to enjoy an inheritance in heaven after their lifetime.

Christians have been advised to depend solely on God always.

The Senior Pastor, Foursquare Gospel Church, Bodija, Ibadan, Reverend Williams Akinlade gave the advice during sermon.

Reverend Akinlade noted that, casting all of one’s burdens on God, would give strength to overcome challenges of life.

The cleric however urged Nigerians to draw closer to God and pray for the nation’s growth at all times.
