Ogun state government has terminated the contract awarded to a Construction Company for the reconstruction of Iwoye-Owode road in Yewa South Local Government Area over low pace of work

The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who announced the termination of the contract while inspecting ongoing reconstruction of 25.4 Kilmetres Owode Ilaro road, expressed disatisfaction over the level of work done by the company.

While inspecting 52.5 kilometres road in Ewekoro axis, Governor Abiodun said in the next two weeks his administration would begin reconstruction of Sango/Ota-Abeokuta Road.

The Governor expressed worry over the hardship motorists were being subjected to on the road, saying his administration would not fold its arms and allow its citizenry to continue to suffer.

Governor Abiodun who appealed to the people of the state, particularly those living along the road to be patient, said his administration would take necessary steps to alleviate the sufferings of the motorists passing through the road.
