Respite finally came to the people of Ijesa South Federal Constituency as Osun State Government lifted the seven day lockdown imposed on the
four local governments in the constituency to curtail the spread of
corona virus.
Our correspondent Isaac Haastrup, who visited some banks and commercial areas in the affected local governments, said the people trouped out in large numbers as early as six 0’clock in the morning.

Parents have been encouraged to keep their children busy with productive ventures during the stay-at-home period.
A public affairs analyst, Mr Temitope Owosela made the call while speaking Radio Nigeria on the impact of the sit at home on children.
Mr Owosela noted that parents should maximize the period by adding formal and informal knowledge to their children to equip them for post pandemic period.
“We should engage them positively, teach them about fashion , culture, religious and formal education. Just make sure the time is not wasted” he said
He however urged Nigerians irrespective of age to be hygienic and always pray to God to bring an end to Covid-19 scourge.
