Gateway Utd Resume Training Ahead of 2023 NNL Season

Ogun State-owned Football Outfit, Gateway United FC has resumed training and other preparatory activities ahead the 2022/2023 Nigeria National League, NNL, campaign. 

The first training session of the year was held today at Muda Lawal Stadium, Asero, Abeokuta.

Addressing the team which included returning and scouted ones, the General Manager of the Club, Mr Niyi Soleye welcomed both officials and players to the new year and advised that every player should take the task at hand very seriously.

He reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Dapo Abiodun to support the team in their quest to achieve the set targets.

Also, the Head Coach, Toyin Ayinla said the Club would continue from where it left off last year before the yuletide.

He announced that the team would play different grades of friendlies and possibly go on at least one Tour before the Season kicks off.

Gateway United FC Resumes Training After Christmas, New Year Holidays

Ahead of the January 16th kick-off date of the Nigeria National League, NNL, players and technical team of Gateway United FC have resumed preparation for the forthcoming season after a two-week festive break.

Addressing the players on the training pitch of the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, the Team Manager, Mr Dare Osunsanya implored the players to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Mr Dare restated the government’s determination to support the players with all they required to enable them to succeed in the league.

Also, the Acting General Manager, Mr Niyi Soleye harped on dedication, discipline and commitment as ingredients for success in the forthcoming season. Olusegun Folarin
