Burial programs of Olori Olanike Aromolaran, the second wife of Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran begins this Thursday with a service of song at the Redeemed Christian church of God King’s Royal cathedral beside First Bank Isokun, Ilesa.

A statement by the family indicated that the service of song is slated for 4 o’clock in the evening, while Christian wake follows on Friday at Yinka Oba event hall opposite Ilesa schools board, Ayeso, Ilesa at 5 o’clock in the evening.

According to the statement the funeral service holds o. Saturday at Methodist Church, Nigeria, Otapete cathedral, Ilesa at 10 o’clock in the morning.

Aged 65 years, madam olanike is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren.

Traditional rulers in Ijesaland have reacted to the death of the second wife of the Owa-Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, Olori Olanike Aromolaran, describing the deceased as a combination of royalty and humility.

The traditional rulers from Ijesa North Traditional Council, including the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa, Owamiran of Esa-Oke, Akeji of Ikeji, Olura of Ira- Ikeji, Owaloko of Iloko-Jesa, Olomu of Ijaregbe, Oniwoye of Iwoye and Ado-Oko of Ido-Oko said Olori Olanike exemplified Christ-like character while she was alive.
