There is good news in Ibadan as no death or causality were recorded during the yuletide celebration.

A report from Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Ibadan, indicates that most roads were calm and motorists were moving gradually without any mishap or road crashes.

Public Relations Officer of the FRSC, Oyo State Sector Command, Mr. Chijioke Inyama said all these were achieved because the corps had deployed officers and men to strategic places to prevent carnage on the road.

Mr. Inyama thereby called on motorists to abide by rules and regulations of road safety, stressing that only the living celebrate.

However, a visit to some traffic prone areas of the city revealed that traffic was light while activities at motor parks were at a low ebb.
