Tonto Dikeh Reconciles with Ex-Husband after 10 Years

Nollywood actress, Tonto Charity Dikeh, has reconciled with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, bringing an end to a decade-long public feud.

Tonto Dikeh made this known in an emotional tribute on Saturday, describing the reconciliation as a restoration after years of conflict, broken communication, bitterness, and emotional pain.

She said peace and mutual respect have now replaced the hostility that once defined their relationship.

According to report, the reconciliation came after sustained prayers, humility, and a decision to choose peace for the sake of their child. She credited the turnaround to divine intervention and said what human effort could not fix had now been healed.

Report says, the actress expressed gratitude to Churchill for yielding to reconciliation and choosing a peaceful path, noting that obedience and patience had led to the restoration of their relationship, using the moment to encourage others facing similar challenges not to lose hope, stressing that difficult situations can still be resolved with perseverance, faith, and love.

She prayed that the renewed relationship would remain stable and built on mercy, grace, and mutual understanding, adding that their reconciliation should serve as a testimony that broken relationships can be healed.

She wrote, “We are living proof that the Word of God is eternal and unfailing.

“God is not a God who abandons what He has started. When He begins a work, He stays with it until it is completed.

“After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in. What looked ugly, impossible, and beyond repair has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos.

“This restoration is not by might, not by wisdom, not by strength—but by the Spirit of the Lord. When God moves, the human mind cannot comprehend the process. He softens hearts, silences the enemy, and rewrites stories that looked finished. Every plan of darkness has failed. Stubbornness has bowed. Pride has melted. Love has found its voice again for my child.

“I am deeply grateful to the father of my child Dr kunle for yielding to God’s word and choosing peace. Obedience to God always births restoration, even when the road has been long and painful.

“To anyone standing where I once stood, tired, wounded, misunderstood, and believing nothing good can come out of the situation.please hear this: God has not abandoned you. Your story is not over. What He has started, He will surely perfect. Keep praying. Keep choosing love. Keep trusting God even when it hurts.

“May this restored relationship remain built on the solid rock of God’s mercy, protection, grace, and mighty hand. May it stand as a living testimony that God never fails, never forgets, and never walks away from His own.

“If God did it for us, He can do it for you.

“To my spiritual father, Papa, thank you for grooming a God-fearing, impact-making woman out of a Total Mess.”

Recalled that, the former couple, who shared a son, King Andre, were involved in prolonged public disputes which led to their separation.

2023: I have never failed in leadership – Tonto Dikeh

Actress turned politician, Tonto Dikeh says she has never failed with leadership and therefore, believes she is capable of succeeding as Deputy Governor of Rivers State.

Dikeh made the comments on a Television Programme while speaking of her candidacy under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to her, contrary to speculations and despite her being a subject of controversy, the decision to join politics was well thought out and is one she has worked towards for at least three years.

“I am prepared for anything, truthfully. I have had three years to work on this, its not something that I just came out or emerged with. We’ve had a lot of time to work on this and for this. Criticism, I am ready, non-criticism I am ready. So, it doesn’t matter where the questions are coming from.

“I have failed in my life and I’m not denying that. Everyone has seen that.

“But am I going to fail with leadership. Have I failed in leadership? Start from motherhood, have I ever failed in motherhood, talk about my foundation. I think it was one of the foundations that stood up for this country, in the time of the pandemic, with no assistance whatsoever. I did even more than the government,” she said.

The ADC governorship candidate in Rivers state, Tonte Ibraye, had presented Dikeh as his running mate on Friday ahead of the 2023 elections.

Later the same day, the actress confirmed the nomination via her social media handles, where she shared what they hope to achieve if elected into office during next year’s election.

“I thank Mr Tonte Ibraye (@TonteIbraye), the Governorship candidate for ADC, Rivers State for nominating me as his running mate,” Dikeh tweeted.“We are looking at investing in social protection, creating social value system & increased women’s inclusion in governance.”

Tonte Ibraye and Tonto Dikeh were later on Friday presented their Certificates of Return by the ADC party chairman, Ralph Okey Nwosu in Abuja.

Tonto Dikeh Plans To Block Her Pastor

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she has decided to block her pastor off her social media platforms. King Tonto as she’s fondly called, has revealed that following her decision to open an only fans page, she would be blocking her pastor as well as other “over righteous brethren”.

According to the single mother of one, she intends to make money off the liposuction she had a few years ago by dancing on her soon to be open only fans page.

Many of her fans have taken to the comment section of the said post airing their reactions.

Some have voiced that they think the actress is joking while others support her decision on the money-making venture.

It would be recalled Tonto Dikeh had shared a cryptic post on how dangerous it is to build up a man.

The actress averred that building up a man of low integrity is dangerous.

Tonto Dikeh likened it to sharpening a knife which could end up stabbing the sharpener.

She wrote, “It is a Dangerous Thing to build up a Man of Low integrity!! It’s like sharpening the knife that will be used to stab you”.

Tonto Dikeh, Ex-Boyfriend Prince Kpokpogri, Call Each Other Names On Social Media

Kpokpogri says the movie star, Tonto Dikeh should beg God for forgiveness for all the married men she has slept with.

The Nollywood actress and her ex-boyfriend have continued to call each other out on social media.

The actress had earlier called the self-acclaimed activist a public d*ck.

While responding to the movie star’s post, Kpokpogri said that even though he isn’t known for drama, he wasn’t scared of getting messy.

“In as much as I don’t like trouble, I don’t shy away when I see one. Community ‘thing’ you said? Fine! But for every husband you’ve slept with, every boyfriend you’ve snatched and the dirty life you’ve lived, you need to make peace with God and free yourself from this obvious depression, Ash*wo,” he wrote.

The Nollywood Actress wrote:

 “Oga Kpo kpo from morning till night, Abeg between me and you who is the Prostitute? Name the names of the husbands I have snatched or boyfriends, name a place any blog joined me together with anyone’s husband. Ooh I call you a community public d*ck because that’s who you!!”.

Dikeh further called the activist several names including dragging his mother.

“Plus your mother is the A. From A mother to a mother. With Love, you obviously can’t take half the shit you have done to me. So don’t cry when I feel the need to start. A street Dog is a street Dog 🐕”

The movie star’s post came hours after she shared a video of Kpokpogri dancing on her IG page.

She revealed this on her Instagram page last Sunday, in response to reports that they were reuniting.

“What’s in the street stays in the streets and what’s on my phone is mine. Cruise pun cruise and anyone can be my little memes. It is the lack of faith that would make me bring back the street dog for me,” she wrote.

“Brotherly is a public d*ck and you think that’s something I’ll manage? Like una fall my hand but like I’ll always say I never give a second chance, I’m not Jesus my name is king.”

She later removed the post.

The actress’s post came just hours after she posted a video of Kpokpogri dancing on her Instagram page.

It was followed by speculation about the former couple reuniting.

It should be noted that the actor’s previous relationship with activist Kpokpogri ended in acrimony.

It was filled with loved-up photos on social media and the exchange of expensive gifts in the early stages of the relationship.

It didn’t take long for the relationship’s cracks to show their ugly head.
