The Ondo State House of Assembly, ODHA, says it will support every move to enhance the state’s media outfits for improved productivity.

Chairman, House committee on Information, Mr. Olugbenga Omole gave the support while on oversight visit to the state-owned television and radio houses, OSRC TV and Orange FM.

Mr. Omole commended the management team led by Mr. Kunle Adebayo for working towards the current status of the media stations.

The lawmaker expressed commitment of the house to address budgetary provision for the broadcast outfits in the interest of adequate information dissemination.

Addressing the committee members, OSRC board chairman, Mr. Kunle Adebayo identified key areas where the house could assist the broadcast outfits which include proper legislation and patronage.

Mr. Adebayo noted that management was working on bringing into full operation the booster stations at Oka-Akoko and Okitipupa while improving on contents of the media outfits to put it on pay station status.

Correspondent Olumide Abudu report that the committee members took time to inspect facilities at the media outfits and the level of work done on the renovation of the television station.
