The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Asaba, has dismissed the suit filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC Doris Uboh, challenging the outcome of the February 23 Senatorial Election in Delta North Senatorial District.

Delivering the judgement in Asaba, Justice E. I. Ngene faulted the delay in filling of the case by the candidate of the APC while declaring the petition dead on arrival.

The ongoing Election Tribunal sitting at the Customary Court in the state capital will also deliver judgement on the petition filed by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Evelyn Oboro challenging the victory of the senator representing Delta Central District Senator Ovie Omo- Agege at the polls.

Also, the outcome of the petition regarding the dispute in Delta South Senatorial District election won by the candidate of the PDP Senator James Manager, would also be pronounced by the election tribunal.
