Oyo State has won six medals as at day four of the ongoing fifth National Youth Games in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Adeola Aserere won two silver and one bronze medals for Oyo State in Weightlifting, while in Swimming, Jolaade Adeyeri equally won a silver medal in one hundred metres breaststroke.
In Judo, Temitope Oluborode clinched a silver medal in the thirty two kilogram category, while a silver medal was won by the pacesetter state in Gymnastics.
Our Correspondent reports that Oyo State is on the eleventh position of the medals table as at day four of the competition holding at the University of Ilorin.
According to a statement by the media officer of the State Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mrs Olubukola Ibikunle, the general manager of the Sports Council, Mr Gboyega Makinde said the state’s athletes would not disappoint the people of Oyo State.
