The need to foster harmonious relationship among Nigerians irrespective of religious, tribe or political background for a peaceful country has been reemphasized.

At a sensitization programme marking this year’s International Day of Peace organized in Ibadan by the National Orientation Agency, NOA, Oyo State director, Mrs. Dolapo Dosunmu explained that no nation of the world could develop in an atmosphere of chaos, insurgence, ethnic and religious crises, hence the need for everyone to toe the path of peace at all times.

Mrs. Dosunmu said the agency will not rest on its oars in the drumming into the hearing of Nigerians, the importance of peace to the socio-economic development of the country, until the peaceful relations become an general attitude in Nigeria.
