Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde says it will ensure the speedy completion of the road from New Garage to Kuola through Jakata-Bembo -Apata connecting Abeokuta Ibadan expressway.

The governor gave the assurance during an assessment tour of the road in company of the Commissioner for Works and Transport, Professor Raphael Afonja, some contractors and other government officials.

Governor Makinde, while noting that the project had dragged long, said the remaining three kilometers road project when completed would ease traffic around Ring-road, Apata axis as those travelling from toll gate to Abeokuta could navigate through new garage through Kuola avoiding unnecessary traffic bottleneck .
