An Ibadan Magistrate Court on Monday ordered the remand of four men, in prison for conducting themselves in manner that could cause panic in public.

The suspect, Semiu Alade (50), Olusola Ojewale (55), Ramoni Oriyomi (47) and Semiu Adisa are facing four count charges bothering on conspiracy to commit felony, unlawful possession of firearms, and being in possession of gun without license.

According to the Police Prosecutor, Mr. S. B Hammed, the suspects committed the offence on February 6, 2020 at Ajibode village along Ijaye/Iseyin road, Ibadan. 

They were alleged to have conspired with some others at large to assault one Isiaka Oladigbolu by attacking and beating him.

Counsel to the suspects moved application for their bail which was rejected by the court.

While ruling on the bail application, the Chief Magistrate, O. A.  Hamzat ordered that the suspects be kept at Agodi Correctional Home till March 6, when they will be brought back to the court.
