African leaders have been advised to place more premiums on long term investments to save numerous generations to come
The leader of the Young Africa Entrepreneur AYE, Dr Sanmi-Smart Francis gave the advice during the World’s First Entrepreneurship Village, a training ground for African youths in Akure, the Ondo State capital
Dr Francis blamed the dwindling development coupled with poverty noticed in most parts of African countries on lack of entrepreneurial skills
The AYE leader alongside other representative, Mrs Joy Michael cited the proposed Ondo Sea Port as one of the best investments taken in the interest of the next generation
Addressing the youths, Governor Oluwatotimi Akeredolu said part of the steps taken to invest in the next generation were the planned Ondo Sea Port and the World Entrepreneurship Village
Governor Akeredolu noted that the entrepreneurship village would be more in-depth since it involved more practical than that of tertiary institutions
The World Entrepreneurship Village is to train and make African youths between age 18 and 45 economically productive.
