The Ilesole and Delesolu family of Oje, Ibadan have described the death of a veteran journalist and a Former Commissioner for Local Government Affairs and Home Affairs, Culture and Information in the Old Western State, Chief Areoye Oyebola as a great loss to Ibadan.
Mr Wasiu Salmon who spoke on behalf of the family said the late Areoye was a man of many parts who impacted lives positively.
Mr Salmon said until his death, Chief Areoye was an active advocate of good governance and right behaviors
Mr Salmon hinted that burial arrangement would be communicated to the public after the family meeting.
Meanwhile, among the early callers reflected in the condolence register were Ibadan Action Council, religious leaders and other prominent Nigerians Chief Areoye Oyebola passed on yesterday at the age of 84.
