Covid-19: Radio Nigeria Ibadan Puts in Place Operational Measures
Amidst the global attack of the deadly coronavirus, countries of the world and different agencies are putting mechanisms in place to prevent the spread of the disease.
To this end, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Ibadan has directed that corps members, students on interns and artists to stay away from work until further notice.
The Zonal Director, FRCN, Ibadan National Station, Alhaji Mohammed Bello stated this while speaking on the need for government, agencies and individuals to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Alhaji Bello, who explained that no matter the degree of the pandemic, Radio Nigeria had the responsibility to inform the public, said operational strategy had been put in place temporary operational methods to ensure that only content providers and direct operational people would henceforth be coming to work.
Alhaji Bello also advised people whose relatives just returned from abroad to encourage them to make themselves available for tests.
The Zonal Director also implored the public not to be too religious about the management of the virus, noting that its harrowing effects had been felt across the globe.
Over all thirty- six cases of the deadly disease had been confirmed in Nigeria out of which thirty-three are active, one dead while two had been discharged.
