Suspension of Rail Services: Ibadan Station on Lockdown

The Ibadan Station of the Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC, has stopped operations.

Radio Nigeria reporter, who visited the station found the station deserted, and under lock with no official around.

It would be recalled that the Board and Management of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) had ordered all train operations to cease due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

This directive took effect from Monday, 23, 2020 involved all the train services including Abuja-Kaduna line.

 NRC Deputy Director, Public Relations, Yakub Mahmood confirmed it to Radio Nigeria.
