The postponed Tokyo 2020 Olympics Games will now be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
President, Tokyo 2020 Organization Committee, Yoshiro Mori, who disclosed this to newsmen, said he reached agreement on the dates with the President, International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach during a phone call earlier today.
Mori added that the Paralympics would be staged from August 23 to September 5, 2021.
The organizers of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Games had last week postponed the tournament by a year as a result of the worldwide Corona virus pandemic.
