Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has resumed duty officially after recovery from Coronavirus and declared the State Infectious Disease Center Olodo, Ibadan opened. 

The Governor declared the centre open today after a tour and inspection of facilities at the centre.

Governor Makinde said he took time to reflect on policies of government for the benefit of the people while in isolation and how the state would thrive after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Oyo helmsman, who called for the support and understanding of the people, gave an assurance that the state government would work to ensure no life is lost to the current coronavirus pandemic.

The governor later paid a visit to the Emergency Operating Centre (EOC) at the State Secretariat to assess the state of alertness in fulfilling its mandate.
