Oyo State coordinator of isolation centres and a member of the state task force, Professor Temitope Alonge has said that University Teaching Hospital(UCH) is working hard in partnership with the state taskforce to contain the spread of Covid -19 within the community.
Professor Temitope Alonge disclosed this while briefing journalists on the update in the fight against COVID-19 in Oyo State.
Professor Alonge said that the state task force was still working on home grown product that could boost immune system to help in overcoming any viral infection.
On the allegation that medical practitioners were not carried along by the state’s taskforce in curtailing COVID-19,Professor Alonge debunked the report, noting that relevant bodies were involved accordingly.
Professor Alonge urged residents of the state to always observe personal hygiene and follow medical expert instructions on coronavirus pandemic to contain the virus.
