Oyo State Government has reiterated its determination to expand sources of revenue generation and block leakages to create a conducive environment for residents of the state.

Commissioner for Finance, Mr Akinola Ojo stated this at a launch ceremony for the sale of OYSAA mobile advert stickers held at the House of Chief, Secretariat Ibadan.

Mr Ojo, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Mrs Adenike Fashina, said the present administration would remain accountable to the people as monies generated from the sale of mobile stickers and other revenues would be used to improve the lives of the citizenry.

In a welcome address, the Director General, Oyo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OYSAA), Mr Temilola Adibi explained that the 2020 mobile stickers would be administered on any branded vehicle belonging to individuals and corporate organizations.

Mr Adibi added that anyone caught in an attempt to counterfeit the stickers would be duly prosecuted. 

The Chairman, Oyo State Board of Internal Revenue, Aremo John Adeleke urged those involve to synergize with state government by purchasing the stickers and complying with all financial commitment to the state 

The lead consultant, representatives from the Manufacturer Association of Nigeria (MAN) and other stakeholders promised to work together for the success of the scheme.
