COVID- 19: NIPOST Shuts Down Activities

Nigerian Postal Service, NIPOST, Dugbe, Ibadan has been sealed.

This is believed to be part of measures to prevent the spread of Corona Virus in the state.

A trader around the premises told Radio Nigeria that some suspected cases of the deadly virus were yesterday discovered within the establishment.

Over 100 cases of Covid-19 had earlier been reported at ISON, a company that is about 100meters away from NIPOST and about three other establishment around Dugbe Metropolis.

An officer of NIPOST, Mr Frank Alao said the place was only locked for today because of fumigation.

He denied any active case of of COVID-19 in the establishment.
