Public School Teachers Resume in Oyo

Public primary and secondary school teachers in Oyo state have resumed as directed by the state government.

Our correspondent who monitored the situation of the schools said premises were cleaned, including seminars on precautionary measures against Covid-19 were held in various schools.

At Ibadan Boys High School, Oke-Ado, the Principal, Alhaji Olasupo Adeyemi, said teachers were assigned responsibilities in preparation for students’ resumption by next week.

Also, Principal, Celestial Church of Christ High School, Mrs Blessing Ibeneme, said that training had commenced for teachers on the aim to guide students against the deadly Corona virus.

Similarly, Principal, Muslim Model College, Ibadan, Alhaji Tajudeen Akanbi promised that teachers would comply with Covid-19 protocols.

Meanwhile affected students would be expected to resume on Monday next week.
