Some final year students in Oyo town and its environs were this morning refused entry into their various schools because of high body temperature while many were turned back for not wearing face masks.
Our Correspondent who went round schools in Afijio and Oyo East Local government areas, reports that teachers were finding it difficult to enforce social distancing among the pupils who could not hide their joy of returning to school.
Principal, Oba Adeyemi High School, Mrs Latifat Amzat-Jare however said that provision of two additional class rooms with the existing four SS 3 classes in her school will solve the problem.
Meanwhile, roaming of streets by students have resurfaced again in Oyo and it’s environ with teachers and parents calling on appropriate agencies to curb the menace.
