The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has arrested two suspects for abusing a minor sexually at Ajingi local government area of Kano state
The state commandant of the NSCDC in Kano Alhaji Abu Abdu stated this while parading the suspect at the NSCDC Kano commands headquarters.
Abu Abdu said the two suspects known as Aminu Mohammad AKA Skylolo thirty five years and one Abubakar Sifyanu AKA R.Kelly fourty years were arrested on the 12th of this month for abusing a minor Fatima Lukman, eleven years at Unguwar Dugwal, Ajingi local government areas.
The Commandant explained that the suspects had confessed to the command during investigation that they have assaulted the victim severally.
“Abubakar Sifyanu confessed that he assaulted the minor on four occasions at three different locations while Aminu Mohammad confirmed that he assaulted the innocent Fatima on three different occasions.”
The suspects also confessed that they monitor the movement of the little girl, and especially when she’s in an isolated place where they take advantage of her.
Alhaji Abu Abdu maintained that the suspect would be arraigned before a court law for prosecution.
He appealed to parents and guardians to be extra vigilant on the whereabouts of their children.
Speaking to journalists, the two suspects confirmed to have committed the offence, attributing it to the work of the Devil, and also pleaded for mercy.
