Residents of Ondo State are observing today as work-free day ahead of tomorrow’s local government election

 Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu announced this to enable residents of the state to have adequate time to prepare for the local government poll.

The governor equally urged the electorate to freely exercise their voting rights and shun violence during the exercise.

He enjoined the people to see the council election as another opportunity for the citizens to avail themselves of the chance of democratic participation at the grassroots.
