Ogun State Government has renewed its commitment to efforts aimed at ensuring the capacity building of workers and improving welfare of its workforce.

The State Head of Service, Alhaja Selimot Otun made the call when the leadership of the Radio, Television and Theatre Arts Workers Union RATTAWU, Ogun State Chapter paid a visit to her Oke Mosan, Abeokuta office. 

Alhaja Otun, who described members of RATTAWU as the eyes and face of the society, said the present administration would continue to initiate more workers- friendly policies and industrial harmony in the state.

She appreciated the media industry for its roles in the sensitizing the public to their obligations, especially during this period of the Coronavirus pandemic. 

Earlier, RATTAWU chairman, Mr Adewole Bamgbose had explained that the visit was to congratulate the new Head of Service on her appointment as the seventeenth Head of Service in Ogun state.

Mr Bamgbose said the Union remained focused in actualizing government policies through prompt dissemination of information to the society.
