Traditional Ruler Calls for Continuous Training of Journalists for effectiveness

Journalists in the country have been advised to exhibit professionalism in their duties to save the country from collapse and ills of bad journalism.

A traditional ruler, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye of Towulade in Akiale, Ewekoro local government area of Ogun state gave the advice while speaking on “Gbagede Oro”, a paramount FM enlightenment programme in Abeokuta.

Oba ogunleye who is also a renowned journalist noted that some media professionals don’t respect the code and ethics of the profession, hence the need to embrace responsible and effective journalism.

He called for peaceful coexistence among men of the pen profession and advised media organizations to train and retrain staff for optimal performance.
