The Ogun State Judicial Panel of Investigation set up to investigate the complaints and petitions of victims of police brutality and abuse of human rights by security operatives have received twenty petitions within two weeks of its inauguration.

Chairman of the panel, Retired Justice Solomon Olugbemi who made this known in Abeokuta after a meeting with the panel members said the siting would be transparent and open. 

Retired Justice Olugbemi pointed out that the media stations would be invited to witness and cover the sittings.

The chairman who explained that the maiden sitting of the panel would commence on Thursday November five, adding that the panel sitting days would be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning from ten o’clock in the morning at the Magistrate Court One lsabo, Abeokuta.

Justice Olugbemi called on members of the public who have complaints to send in their petitions to the secretary of the panel or send an email via “endsarsjudiciapanel@ogunstate gov.ng”.
