Oyo state Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde wants officers of the Nigerian Army to sustain discipline and professionalism which the army is known for through their conducts.

He stated this while inauguratingthe newly constructed 2 Division Officers Transit Camp, at the Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Odogbo Ibadan.

The governor lauded the army’s contributions toward peaceful conduct of Edo and Ondo Governorship elections recently.

Governor Makinde promised that his administration would continue to provide necessary logistics to the Nigerian Army and other security agents to strengthen the security of the state.

In a remark, the General Officer Commanding, GOC 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Anthony Omozoje, said the project was executed by the Army Division to create a conducive environment for officers.

The GOC tasked the beneficiaries of the accommodation on maintenance culture of the structures.

Major General Omozoje lauded the Oyo state government for its support for the Division so far.
