Ikare Akoko in Akoko North East Local Government Area of Ondo State has now become a Mecca of sort as people trooped into the ancient town to have a glance of some Islamic inscriptions on a rock.
The Inscriptions were said to have suddenly appeared on the rock located behind L.A Primary School, Okela in the town which people now perceived to be a miracle.
Community Reporter, Ibrahim Kilani reports that people from far and around the community besieged the location daily while some took plants around the rock home for supposedly spiritual healing.
A visitor to the scene, Yakubu Animasaun said what he saw reaffirmed his faith in the existence of Allah while an Okadaman, Taye Oyileka expressed happiness that the development was boosting commercial activities in the area as hawkers and motorcyclists made brisk business from the exodus of people to the place.
In an interview, the Chief Imam of Ikareland , Sheik Abbas Abubakar said the inscriptions showed the greatness and oneness of Allah as people of all faiths came to have a look at the miracle.
