Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Oyo State Council, has inaugurated a Committee for the 60th Anniversary of the Union
Performing the inauguration at the NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan, the Chairman of the Council, Mr Akeem Abas said the members of the Committee were carefully chosen after necessary consultations with critical stakeholders of the Union.
While Inaugurating the Wale Ojo-Lanre-led Committee, Mr Abas said the Oyo State Council should set the pace for other State Councils to follow, being the first in the Country.
On his part, the National Trustee, Zone B of the NUJ, Mr Seye Ojo said the National Secretariat of the NUJ was behind the celebration and it must be successful.
Other members of the Committee are Deputy Director News and Current Affairs, FRCN, Ibadan, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere, Mrs Phebean Ojo, Mr Kemi Ayo-Olaitan, Mrs Bukola Owolabi-Akinloye and Mr Olusola Ladipo.
