Ondo CoS’s Wife, Friend, Rescued From Kidnappers
Kidnapped wife of the Chief of Staff to Ondo State governor Mr Olugbenga Ale, has regained her freedom this afternoon.
Mrs Ale who was abducted on Thursday night by some suspected gunmen at Owena area, near Akure, was rescued alongside her friend who was in transit with her.
Reports say security agencies initiated a manhunt for the criminals, following detailed intelligence gathering spearheaded by the Amotekun Corps which indicated the location and track of the hoodlums.
Radio Nigeria gathered that after serious exchange of gunfire, the combined team of security agencies were able to overpower the hoodlums and retrieve the kidnapped individuals unhurt.
Confirming the development, Mr Olugbenga Ale disclosed that his wife and her friend were rescued unhurt.
