More than sixty expectant mothers have benefited from various gifts donated by Positive Care and Support Foundations.

The expectant mothers, who were attending antenatal care at Primary Health Center, Aba Emu Community along Amuloko Akanran road, Ibadan were given packs of rice, soap, body creams and other delivery kits.

While presenting the gifts, the Foundation also used the opportunity to sensitize the expectant mothers on the need to take care of their health and their babies.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria on the gesture, the Director Positive Care and Support Foundation Mrs. Tolu Aladesanmi said the gifts given to beneficiaries were to serve as incentives that would encourage them  to attend clinic during pregnancy.

Mrs Aladesanmi, while addressing the expectant mothers, urged them to ensure they gave birth in clinic and not at home to ensure safety of their lives and their babies.

Speaking with Radio Nigeria, the Matron of the Clinic, Mrs Atinuke Adesina commended Positive Care and Support Foundations for its gesture and called on other organizations to emulate the Foundation.

Mrs.  Adesina also listed some other medical materials the clinic lacked to include Blook Pressure apparatus, potable water among others.
