Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says the death of former minister of Commerce and Industry late Chief Jubril Martins-Kuye is a huge loss not only to Ogun State but also to the country as a whole.
The former President described the late politician as committed nationalist and an effective representative of his people.
Chief Obasanjo said the utterances and deeds of the late Martins-Kuye were completely devoid of political partisanship and was a detribalised Nigerian with friends from all over the country.
The former President who re-echoed working relationship with the late philanthropist demonstrated wisdom, honesty and good leadership.
He condoled with the traditional ruler of Ago-Iwoye, the people and family of the late Jubril Martins-Kuye and pray that the Almighty Allah grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
