Major Ojutiku (Rtd) Wake: Clergy Urges Faithful to Shun Materialism
A cleric, Captain Reverend Musa Amos of St Augustine’s Military Church, Mokola has enjoined people to shun worldly materials that could make them miss Heaven.
Captain Reverend Amos said this at the wake service of Major Ola Lateef Ojutiku (RTD) held at his residence, Orisumibare, Wire and Cable, Ibadan.
He noted that people should focus more on life in eternity and not allow things of the world to overshadow their conscience.
Other speakers at the service described the deceased as a devoted Christian and a kind hearted man.
Major Ola Lateef Ojutiku (RTD), who died on the twenty fourth of last month, will be buried tomorrow after a funeral service at St. Augustine’s Military Church, Mokola Barracks Ibadan.
He is survived by wife, Mrs Olaoti Ojutiku of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan and children.
