Ogun State Government has handed over two female students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Precious Adeyemo and Abiola Oyefule, who regained their freedom from the hands of kidnappers to their parents. 

Speaking with newsmen at Governor’s Office, Oke Mosan Abeokuta, the Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Waheed Odusile, said that the abducted students were rescued unharmed.

Alhaji Odusile, who commended the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the prompt rescue of the abducted students, reiterated that the present administration in the state would continue to give priority to the security of lives and property.

While handing over the abducted students to their parents, the state’s Commissioner for Health Dr Tomi Coker, said that the victims were in stable health condition, adding that the victims would only be treated for bruises. 

Also, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology Professor, Abayomi Arigbabu said the state government was committed to providing conducive learning environment and gave an assurance that the government would beefed up security on all campuses.
