Edo 2020: Team Oyo Sets The Pace In Trado Sports

Johnson Adeoye and Seun Aiyedun from Oyo state have won gold and silver medals in Trado sports, Ayo Olopon at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Benin, Edo state.
The two Team Oyo Ayo Olopon players had separately defeated two Ayo Olopon from Akwa Ibom state before they both clashed in the final.
Also, paralympic champion, Yakubu Adesokan, won gold for Oyo state in the one hundred and fifty five kilogram powerlifting.
As the sports festival progresses, the pacesetter state has clinched forty nine medals, with eight gold, twelve silver and twenty nine bronze.
Delta state is currently topping the medals table, follow by hosts, Edo state.
