Mothers ought to be role models – Rev. Alabi

As mother’s day is being celebrated, mothers have advised to be good role models to their children and to the society in general.

Delivering a sermon at Molete Baptist Church,Ibadan The Reverend Edward Alabi said mothers should manifest good virtues to their families and the society at large.

The priest who explained that mothers had roles to play in nation building, also urged them to take up responsibilities to balance the relationship and care among their children and their husbands.

Highlights of the service were the presentation of gifts by the children to their mothers, drama presentation to celebrate the roles of mothers in the society and songs rendition to commemorate this year’s mothers’ day.
