COAS, General Ibrahim Attahiru To Be Buried in Abuja Today

Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, and six other senior military officers that died in a plane crash yesterday in Kaduna will be buried today at 1 o’clock in the afternoon.
This is contained in a statement by the Director, Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima.
The statement notes that the officers will be buried at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.
It adds that the burial will be preceded by prayers that will hold simultaneously at the National Mosque and National Christian Centre, Abuja.
With the latest incident, three crashes involving NAF jets have occured in the last four months, first on February 21 and the other one on March 31.
