Electorates in Oyo town turned out en mass to vote in the ongoing local government polls in Oyo state.
At polling booths in Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo west local government areas, electoral officers were busy accrediting eligible voters before allowing them to cast their votes.
Meanwhile, residents of Oyo town violated the restriction of movement as directed by the state government yesterday.
People were seen going about their normal daily activities, while operatives of Nigerian Police and Amotekun security network were deployed at strategic positions in the town.
