FG Gives Relief Materials To Victims Of Ocean Surges In Ilaje, Ondo

Some breathing spaces have come the way of the people of Aiyetoro in Ilaje council area of Ondo State with relief materials from the Federal Government 
The items were  given out to alleviate the sufferings of the people who were badly devastated and displaced by ocean surges . 
The relief materials including roofing sheets, nails, mattress, clothing, food items among others were presented by the  Director General, National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, Mr Muhammadu Muhammed .
The Director General represented by NEMA Èkìtì Head Operations, Mr Afolayan Olusegun implored the beneficiaries to use the items judiciously 
Receiving the materials, Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu represented by Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa gave the assurance that the recurring problem of sea incursion in Aiyetoro would be addressed. 

Two members of the community, Mr Iwasanmi Ajijo and Prince Victor Akinluwa appreciated government’s assistance  to the people.

Aiyeitoro town in Ilaje area of the  state has suffered serious sea  incursions whereby residential places were taken over by water displacing the residents.
The people had often sent a save our soul message to the government to prevent their ancestral land from being washed away.
