Christians have been encouraged to stand firm in their faith till the end irrespective of all challenges facing them.

Reverend John Fatumbi of Oja Oba Baptist Church made the call during the funeral service in honour of Princess Omoladun Oyebisi held at the church premises, Ogbomoso.

Reverend Fatumbi who said the deceased stood firm with the lord all through her time on earth urged all mankind to emulate her.

The cleric, who maintained that prevailing socio-economic and security challenges were enough to distract mankind from standing firm in faith, warned that only those who sustained their relationship with God till the end would wear the crown of life.

While stressing the need for holiness, the clergyman said death was not a choice but a must for all.

One of the children of the deceased, Mr Kayode Oyebisi of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Abuja, described his mother as a rare gem whose impact would be felt.

In attendance were Deputy Director News and Current Affairs, Elder Adenrele Ajisefini , his counterpart in ICT, FRCN Ibadan National station, Alhaja Wosilat Salami, staffers of FRCN Abuja and other dignitaries including traditional rulers.
